AARON BUKENYA
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Aaron is a Ugandan philanthropist and social entrepreneur, He holds a Bachelors degree in Education and a diploma in Project planning and management and a certificate in development studies and leadership. He is the Executive Director and founder of BESO Foundation, a Ugandan non-profit that works to provide access to quality education. Aaron is a 2016 Cordes Fellow and 2016 Segal Family Foundation Grassroots award winner, 2017 African Visionary Fellow and a 2018 Perennial Fellow. He is the Heart on fire visionary of the month of April 2017 .
He taught physics and mathematics at Kingstone High school and he headed the Physics Department while there, he co-founded
UNACIBAL and worked as the Human Resource Manager and resource mobilization assistant prior to founding BESO Foundation in 2008, he worked with Spark Microgrants as the first Ugandan facilitator and facilitated 3 Microgrants which impacted 2,000 lives in Central Uganda. Aaron is a consultant in strategic planning, leadership development, partnership development, social entrepreneurship, fundraising and an expert in Community Based Development Approach (CBDA) he developed.
He serves on various boards including; Value Addition Institute, Kitimbwa Women Development Association, Simba Plus Community organization, Community Based Care Uganda (CBCU) and currently, he is the Chairperson of Bwaise Parents Old Students Association (BWAPOSA) and Chairperson of the Board of St.Mark Schools - Kayunga and Board member for Rokies Troupe Organisation
Aaron is dedicated to bringing educational resources and economic empowerment to poor children and families in Uganda. He is proud of his success and life achievements and wants every child in Uganda to have the same opportunities.


ESTHER NAKITYO
FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR
Esther is an enthusiastic woman whose major career ambition lies in making a direct contribution towards the society and providing social and economic developments in her the community. She brings more than ten years of experience in financial administration and economic development to BESO foundation.
Esther was the general cashier at Prime Development SACCO for two years prior to joining the BESO Foundation. At SACCO Esther developed the small-scale saving model. She also worked as an account assistant at SACCO which combined all Kampala milk, bread & fruits vendors. She served as school bursar at Siira Memorial School for three years. Esther is a professional teacher and an accountant. She holds a diploma in Education and Accounts and a certificate in Business Administration.
She is also a dedicated and loving single mother of a bright, bubbly and beautiful eleven-year-old girl named Daisy.
HUSSEIN KAAKA
PROGRAM OFFICER- EDUCATION
Kaaka is the Education program officer at BESO Foundation. He is an industrial Art and Design Teacher by profession from Kyambogo University and holds several certificates in various Academic disciplines both local and international.
Prior to joining BESO Foundation he served as a teacher close to 9 years at various institutions in Kampala. He also worked with National Security Institute of United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi, Dubai under Group Four Security (G4S) for two years.
Kaaka enjoys working with a team, learning, and sharing. Outside working hours, he enjoys spending time with his family, sports, watching movies and going to the gym for body building exercise.

HILLARY KIRANGWA
FIELD SUPPORT & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Hillary holds a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management and Marketing. Prior to Joining BESO in 2009, he worked for AMREF International as a Fields and Research Assistant, and the Uganda Election Commission as Presiding Officer.
Hillary has exceptional communication and managerial skills. He is integral to BESO's IT infrastructure and is an exceptionally driven individual.
After his day’s work, Hillary enjoys exercising at the gym, swimming, reading books, watching movies and surfing.

Julian sits as BESO's Office Administrator and Data Entrant. She joined BESO in 2015 and manages all top-level appointments. Julian holds a professional certification in administration and customer relations.
Prior to Joining BESO, she worked with several restaurants in Kampala as an administrator. She provided excellent customer care and integrity at TAL FOREX Bureau.
She is highly commended for building strong relationships with colleagues and clients as a result of her incredible communication, listening, computer and managerial skills. When she is not in her day to day administration roles, she dances, reads the newspaper and listens to music.

PATRICIA IGELIT
PROGRAM OFFICER, LIVELIHOOD PROGRAM
Patricia is a hard working woman who holds a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University. She Joined BESO in 2014 and works as a full-time Program Officer of the Livelihood Program. Prior to working with BESO she worked with Trans Cultural Initiatives for Children and Widowed Women, an NGO based in Soroti district. Patricia also worked at St. Paul Book and Media Center for over 8 years.
When Patricia is not in the field working she is working as a contractor to bring in some more extra income. For example, Patricia bakes cakes and cookies which she supplies to small shops in her home area. She is passionate about making new friends, reading novels and watching television.

COMMUNICATION AND MARKETING
Scovia is the Communications manager and Executive Assistant at BESO Foundation. She joined BESO Foundation in 2017. She brings a wide range of strategic marketing and Communication support skills to the organization including internal and external communication, content development, social media marketing and an eloquent marketing influencer.
Prior to joining BESO Foundation Scovia worked with crown Beverages as Assistant to stores manager, worked as a Managing Director at Yesu Ye Mukama Enterprises, sales and marketing personnel at Links telecom MTN Uganda. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Makerere University Business School and a certificate in computer studies.
Scovia has very incredible communication, marketing, interpersonal, managerial skills and leadership skills. . When Scovia is not working on the organizations communication and managing the Executive Directors Calendar she carries out Agriculture and poultry farming. She is passionate about Traveling, reading, research, watching movies and listening to music.

JOHN WILLIAM KASAMBA
MONITORING AND EVALUATION MANAGER
John is the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at BESO Foundation. He holds a Degree in Business Statistics from Makerere University Business School.
Prior to joining BESO Foundation in 2018, John worked at MultiChoice Uganda as a sales personnel, he also practiced his internship at BESO Foundation in 2017
He is very good with figures and very good at performance analysis and possesses computing skills. Outside his day’s work, John enjoys listening to music, sports, watching movies and Traveling.

Sseguya Wasswa Simon the Chief Finance Officer of BESO foundation. An expert in Accounting & Finance with a C. P. A (Certified Public Accountant). He is focused on improving the existing resources to an impressing Outlook. When he is not working, he plays volley ball, reading and story telling.
